• STUDENTS MEMBERSHIP (STM)

Students of institutions of higher learning are encouraged to register as members and be part of the institute’s training and development programmes. Upon successful graduation from school, your membership shall be Graduate Membership via an upgrade programme.


  • GRADUATE MEMBERSHIP (GRAM)

An applicant for graduate membership of the Institute must satisfy one of the following conditions:

  1. Must be a graduate of any higher institution of learning or any recognized professional body for not less than two years.
  2. Must have been working for the past six months in a customer service department or as a call centre agent.


  •  ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (ASSOM)

An applicant for associate membership of the Institute must satisfy the following conditions:

  1. Must be a graduate of any recognized higher institution of learning or a professional body for not less than 5years.
  2. Must be working in the field of customer service delivery for at least 4 years


  •  FULL MEMBERSHIP (FUM)

An applicant for full membership of the Institute must satisfy the following conditions:

  1. Must be a graduate of any recognized higher institution of learning or a professional body for not less than 5years
  2. Must be working in the field of customer service delivery for at least 10 years


  •  SENIOR MEMBERSHIP (SEM)

Applicant for senior membership of the Institute must not be less than 40 years old. In addition, he/she must satisfy one of the following conditions:

  1. A minimum of 16 years in customer service practice
  2. Must be a graduate of a recognized institution of higher learning or professional body for a period not less than 15 years.
  3. Must be in the customer service department of his/her organization


  • CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP (COM)

This category of membership is open to corporate organizations with a minimum of 2 customer service personnel.

The governing council may also use its discretion to promote and give honorary membership to deserving individuals and organizations.
